In Flight
Dedicated to Foody’s sister, " In Flight " grew from the image of two sisters as birds: both left home young, moving between places and returning to one another. The table and tea set draw on memories of breakfast at home, shared tea, and family life.

"WASH" is about the feeling of doing a task that never ends. By placing a body inside the machine, the work draws attention to the unseen, repetitive labour that so often falls to women.

Her Eyes on My Daughter’s Face
"Her Eyes on My Daughter’s Face" brings together films of Foody’s father as a child, shot by her grandmother in the 1970s, with poems written and read by her mother. Presented within a vanity, the work uses the mirror to reflect on resemblance: seeing oneself in the people who have shaped us.
